GOD is Still In Control

He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.”

Daniel 2:20–21

Daniel praises God as the One who holds all wisdom and power. He changes times and seasons, removes kings, and raises up others. He reveals deep truths and gives knowledge to those who seek Him. These verses remind us that God is in full control—of history, leadership, and every season of life. When the world feels unstable, we can trust the unshakable hand of the One who governs it all.

Reflection:

Life is full of change, some welcome, some unexpected, but Daniel 2:21 reminds us that God is always in control. He isn’t surprised by transitions; He orchestrates them. From the rise and fall of rulers to the personal seasons we walk through, God is actively moving behind the scenes. His timing is perfect, His authority unmatched. When we seek His wisdom in uncertain moments, He generously provides insight and peace. So take heart: if the season is shifting, it’s not chaos—it’s God’s calendar.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being the God of every season. Teach me to trust You when things change and to seek Your wisdom daily. Help me rest in knowing that You hold all things, including me, in Your hands.
