Driven by Eternity

"Very truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds."

John 12:24

Jesus speaks a profound truth: real growth often requires surrender. Just as a seed must die to bear fruit, we too must let go of self to step into God’s greater purpose. Death to self leads to life in the Spirit—and that life produces fruit that blesses others.

Reflection:

Jesus reveals a kingdom principle: life comes through surrender. Just as a seed must be buried and broken to bring forth a harvest, we too must lay down our will to walk in the fullness of God’s purpose. Dying to pride, comfort, or control may feel painful, but in that surrender is where true growth begins. What we release, God multiplies. Our sacrifices become seeds that produce eternal impact when placed in His hands.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to surrender what I’ve been holding onto. Let my life be like a seed willing to die to self so that Your purpose may live through me. Grow something beautiful from what I give You.
